Record beaten by the trimaran GITANA 11 on its completion of the 8th Route du Rhum.

The winner, Patrick Lemonchois arrived in Guadeloupe on Monday 6th November at 1h26 (local time) in the morning after a crossing achieved in 7 days and 17 hours. An exceptional record, beating the record set 8 years ago by Laurent Bourgnon by 4 days.

A great celebration at la Creole Beach Hotel & Resort crowned this event with more than 400 people on the beach.
