The facilities were designed with the natural environment in mind. Guests have to be prepared for walking, as some cottages are located up to 200 steps away from the main path.

The cottages are unique Caribbean accommodations, 35 tastefully furnished tropical hardwood cottages elevated on wooden posts, nestled beneath the undisturbed jungle of Dominica.

The cottages are spacious and feature wood furnishings all "designed & built" at the resort. They are perched like birds nests, tucked away on a hillside between Cedar, Gomier and Galba trees. Special care was taken to preserve the forest in its original form. Cottages are accessed through a series of footpaths and stone staircases. The low impact night lighting along with the sound of the Atlantic surf creates a romantic, surreal ambiance.

Tropical cuisine: Dining at Jungle Bay is truly a unique experience. The Pavilion restaurant comes complete with tropical forest motif including a royal palm tree protruding through its roof. This open air octagonal structure overlooks the stone pool and the ocean. The atmosphere is a perfect complement to the 'fun and healthy living' atmosphere. The gourmet cuisine features mostly vegetarian, seafood and chicken dishes, prepared and served with a distinct Caribbean flavour.

The Ocean Cabana / Sun Deck is situated along the rocky Atlantic coast and is the perfect place to relax and watch the waves roll in.

SPA du Soleil: The world-class Spa du Soleil is perched high on the cliff top with spectacular panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean. Four individual and one couple’s massage studios offer private, relaxing treatments to the natural soundtrack of the ocean waves.

FITNESS CENTER: A very small gym with a treadmill machine and some weights. However you get a lot of “natural” workout enjoying all the different hikes, exploring the surrounding and the island.

Zom Zom Hiking Trail :
Located on the 55 acres of the property, this hiking trail leads to a traditional fishing point with panoramic view of Jungle Bay Resort and the Southeast coastline.

The Beach :
The rocky beach is a lovely place to explore or relax onshore. Due to the size of the waves here, we do not recommend swimming. For a cool refreshing dip, take a short stroll off property to the nearby White River. The whitish mineral waters here have reputed healing properties and are sourced all the way from the Boiling Lake.

The swimming pool :
The Volcanic Stone Finished Swimming Pool is surrounded by wide decks. Frolic in the waters or relax on the cushioned classical lounge chairs while sipping your favorite drink from the nearby Pavilion Restaurant. The Calabash poolside bar is open seasonally.
