Apart from its small craft village for shopping, the main attraction of Saint Anne is its beaches. Because they are absolutely gorgeous: white sand blinding under the sun, a coral reef to embrace the calm clear waters shimmering turquoise, coconut palms and sea grapes to offer their benevolent shade. These are veritable postcard beaches.

The first on arriving is that which borders the Club Med. It is called the Plage de la Caravelle. Badly signposted, you need to take the path in front of the service station. Tip: it is better to not wait until the end of the cul-de-sac before parking. You can practice various water sports including windsurfing and surfing in the channels of the coral reef. It is a particularly popular beach and extremely busy at the weekend. The setting is absolutely exceptional!
