SAINT JAMES DISTILLERY
Sainte Marie

Saint James is the oldest brand of Martinique rum, founded in 1765 by Pre Lefbure, then transferred to Saint Marie following the eruption of Montagne Pele in 1902.

The Saint James distillery produces more than 3 million litres of rum per year.

It offers today the widest range of “agricultural rums”. Open, Monday to Friday 09h00 to 17h00 and at the weekend 09h00 to 13H00, the guided visit allows you to discover the plant facilities functioning.

A small train takes you to the museum of the banana, and the museum of the Saint James rums where the history of the Martinique agricultural rum is retraced for you.
