The Trafalgar falls
Roseau

To the east of the picturesque village of Trafalgar, in the Roseau valley, there is the most visited waterfall of Dominica: the “Trafalgar Falls”.

This site with its extraordinary view over dense tropical forest and the mountainous landscape, offers the spectacle of two twin falls: the highest (38 m) is called “the father” and the smaller (23 m) is called “the mother”. It is possible to swim in the natural pool formed between the rocks at the foot of the smaller fall, the “mother” but you need to be careful of the numerous slippery rocks to reach it.
