Located in the arc of the Antilles, the islands of Petite Terre named Terre de Haut and Terre de Bas are linked to the island of La Désirade.

These islands are classed as a protected nature reserve. They are conducive to the discovery of the

Caribbean flora, and the marine and terrestrial fauna.
