Les Saintes

Situated in the Caribbean Sea, 12 kilometres from Guadeloupe, the Saintes archipelago consists of nine islands and islets, of which two are inhabited: Terre de Haut and Terre de Bas.

Terre de Haut is known for its beautiful bay of turquois water, the awesome sugar loaf, and the charming village with quiet streets lined with pretty houses. Discover the Fort Napoléon which houses a museum and a surprising exotic garden.

Terre de Bas with its beautiful beach of Grande Anse, the remains of the ancient pottery, the walks and also the small village of Petite Anse…Less busy than its sister, the island offers its passing guests, its calm, relaxed lifestyle and the hospitality of its inhabitants.

This is one of the most typical and most beautiful excursions of the archipelago of the Guadeloupe Islands. Ferry boats make the trip daily between Pointe à Pitre and Les Saintes, taking about 45 minutes.
