Situated in the Grand Cul de Sac Marin, it is the largest coral reef of the Lesser Antilles.

The Caret Islet is a small uninhabited paradise of white sand and coconuts. It measures about 250 metres long and some twenty meters wide on average. The islet was created by undersea movements due in part to earthquakes.

Each year, the islet changes shape and some of the sandbanks disappear and others appear. The temperature of the turquoise blue water is 28°C.
