Basse Terre, the region of the “Leeward Coast”, offers an abundance of beaches. Between TroisRivieres and Vieux Fort, one of the most wonderful black sand beaches of Basse Terre, the Grande Anse is very busy at the weekend. However, it does not offer marine activities in its vicinity, which may disappoint lovers of water sports.
