Basse Terre, the region of the “Leeward Coast”, offers an abundance of beaches. From the Plage des Amandiers to the Plage de Malendure, it is a succession of beaches, of different lengths, veritable small gems including the superb beach of Grande Anse, one of the most beautiful beaches of Guadeloupe.

Between TroisRivieres and Vieux Fort, one of the most wonderful black sand beaches of Basse Terre, the Grande Anse is very busy at the weekend. However, it does not offer marine activities in its vicinity, which may disappoint lovers of water sports.
