BAIGNOIRE DE JOSEPHINE Le Franois Located in the Baie du Franois,near the Thierry and Oscar islets, the Baignoire deJosphine is a broad band of fine sand with shallow turquoise water and a white seabed. According to the legend, this “baignoire” took its name from the Empress Josephine de Beauharnais, Napoleon’s first wife, who loved to swim here.
