Rules for the “La Route du Rhum 2026: It’s Your Turn!” Contest

Article 1 - Organizing company

LEADER HOTELS, operating under the trade name DES HOTELS ET DES ILES, with a capital of 7,622.45 euros, registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register (RCS) under number B339 261 695, with its principal place of business at P/O CREOLE BEACH – BP 61 / 97190 Gosier – Guadeloupe (hereinafter the “Organizing Company”), is organizing, in partnership with the airline Corsair (hereinafter “Corsair”), from Sunday, November 1, 2026, until the time the first skipper of the Route du Rhum – Destination Guadeloupe 2026, as recorded by Race Control (based on mainland France time), a free contest with no purchase necessary, consisting of a prediction followed by a random drawing, titled “La Route du Rhum 2026: It’s Your Turn! ,” accessible via a Google Forms online form (hereinafter the “Google Form”) under the terms and conditions set forth below (hereinafter the “Game”).

The Contest is promoted on the social media accounts of the Organizer and Corsair (including Instagram and Facebook), as well as on a dedicated web page with a link to the “Google Form.”

Article 2 - Participants

This Contest is open to any natural person of legal age (as evidenced by civil status records) and of sound mind, residing in France, excluding employees of the Organizing Company and Corsair, anyone who participated in the development of the Contest, and their family members (spouse, ascendants, descendants).

Any participation in this Game implies unreserved acceptance by the participants (hereinafter the "Participants") of these Rules (hereinafter the "Rules"), without any reservation or prior condition on the part of the candidate (failure to comply with the Rules will result in the pure and simple nullity of the candidate's participation and the awarding of any prizes).

Any entry in the Contest that is incomplete, does not comply with the conditions set forth in the Rules, contains false, falsified, or erroneous information, or is submitted after the entry deadline—defined as the time the first skipper in the Route du Rhum crosses the finish line in Pointe-à-Pitre – Destination Guadeloupe 2026, as recorded by Race Management (based on mainland France time), will not be considered and will be deemed void.

Each participant may enter only once during the entire duration of the Contest (same name, same email address). In the event of multiple entries, only the first recorded entry will be considered.

Article 3 - Terms of participation

The Contest is open from Sunday, November 1, 2026, until the time the first skipper in the 2026 Route du Rhum – Destination Guadeloupe crosses the finish line in Pointe-à-Pitre, as recorded by Race Management (based on mainland France time), via a Google Forms form available at:

or by scanning the QR code posted on the Contest’s webpage and on the social media accounts of the Organizer and Corsair.

To play, Participants must:

Go to the contest entry form using the link or QR code above;
Answer the question “Who will be the first skipper to cross the finish line in Guadeloupe at the 2026 Route du Rhum – Destination Guadeloupe?” by selecting one (1) skipper from the pre-filled list of skippers registered for the race;
Enter their last name, first name, and email address;
Certify that you are of legal age and agree to these Rules by checking the box provided for that purpose;
Click the "Submit" button at the end of the form to ensure your entry is properly recorded.

Each participant may submit only one prediction. Once submitted, it cannot be changed.

The list of skippers provided corresponds to the official list of participants in the 2026 Route du Rhum – Destination Guadeloupe as of the Contest’s launch date. A skipper’s forfeit, withdrawal, or withdrawal from the race before or during the event shall not give rise to any claim or change to the prediction.

Correct Answer: The skipper who crosses the finish line first in Pointe-à-Pitre (Guadeloupe)—across all classes and in real time—as determined by the Race Committee of the Route du Rhum – Destination Guadeloupe 2026, is considered the correct answer. Any penalties, protests, or reclassifications occurring after crossing the finish line will have no impact on the Contest.

The timestamp of the entry recorded by the Website shall be considered definitive. Any entry timestamped after the official time at which the first skipper crossed the finish line will be considered invalid, even if the form was still technically accessible at that time.

‍Article4 - Winning entries and prizes

4.1 Designation of the winner

A random drawing will be held on the day the first skipper arrives in Pointe-à-Pitre, or no later than three (3) business days following that arrival, from among all valid entries submitted during the Contest period that provided the correct answer as defined in Article 3 of these Rules.

If no participant has selected the correct answer, a random drawing will be held from among all valid entries in the Contest.

The drawing, conducted at random by the Organizing Company, will select one (1) winner, who will receive the prize described in Section 4.2.

As such, the participant named as the winner certifies that any personal information that may be requested is accurate and true. The participant also agrees to undergo any verification of the accuracy of the contact information provided (phone number, name, address, contact details, etc.), as the final award of the prize will be determined following such verification.

The participant authorizes all verifications concerning his/her identity and domicile. To this end, the Organizing Company reserves the right to request any participant to provide a copy of documents attesting to these elements. Any false or erroneous declaration, in particular concerning contact details, will automatically result in the cancellation of the prize.

In addition, the Organizing Body reserves the right to cancel the entries of anyone who is registered several times under different identities or who provides inaccurate or manifestly inconsistent and/or fanciful information, and generally in the event of fraud.

By accepting the prize, the winner expressly authorizes, free of charge, the Organizing Company and Corsair to display the winner’s first and last name in any medium—including marketing materials and social media—for informational purposes, photo credit (unless expressly objected to), or promotional purposes related to the Contest through December 31, 2026. This authorization, under the conditions set forth above, does not entitle the winner to any rights or financial compensation other than the awarding of the prize. It is hereby specified that the winner may withdraw this authorization under the conditions defined in Article 5.

4.2 Endowments

It is hereby specified that there will be 1 (one) winner of this Contest, who will receive the following prize:

1 (one) 6 (six)-night stay for 2 (two) people at La Créole Beach Hotel & Spa (Le Gosier, Guadeloupe) in a Classic room, including breakfast, valid for 1 (one) year from the date the prize is awarded;
2 (two) round-trip airline tickets from Paris to Pointe-à-Pitre in Economy Class on Corsair flights, valid for 1 (one) year from the date of the prize.

Estimated total value of the lot: €3,628 (including tax).

The stated commercial value is a maximum, indicative value determined at the time these Rules were drafted; its valuation may not be contested. No refund will be issued if the actual cost of the services selected by the winner is less than this value.

Conditions of Stay:

The trip is valid for 1 (one) year from the date the prize is awarded, excluding French school holidays

and subject to hotel availability at the time of booking;

This is a registered, non-transferable lot.

Terms and Conditions for Corsair Airline Tickets:

Booking class: Economy;
Tickets are valid for 1 (one) year from the date of the prize, excluding school holidays, subject to terms and conditions and availability in the designated booking class at the time of booking;
Tickets are valid for three (3) months from the date of issuance;
The winner and their companion must travel on the same outbound and return flights;
Tickets are non-transferable and issued electronically in the name of the winner and his or her guest;
Tickets are non-transferable, cannot be modified after issuance, are non-refundable and non-exchangeable, and may not under any circumstances be redeemed for their cash value or for any other goods or services;
The airline will be responsible for paying the taxes and fees associated with the ticket.

Corsair cannot be held responsible for the unavailability of flights on the dates chosen by the winner. The winner and his or her companion must ensure that they have the necessary identification documents on the day of travel.

The contract does not include expenses not expressly provided for in the description above, including, but not limited to:

Meal and beverage costs not included in the package, as well as personal expenses incurred on site;
Round-trip transportation costs from the winner’s home to the departure airport, as well as round-trip transportation costs between the Pointe-à-Pitre airport and the hotel;
Repatriation and cancellation insurance.

It is further specified that:

The prize shall not be exchanged for cash or substituted for any other item for any reason whatsoever;
The issued shares will be non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and non-refundable;
Any prize that is not claimed or used within its validity period will be permanently forfeited;
In the event of force majeure or any other circumstance beyond the Organizing Company’s control, the Organizing Company reserves the right to replace the planned prize with another prize of equivalent nature and value.

4.3 Terms of delivery

The winner of the Contest will be notified of the results by email, at the address provided on the entry form, within one (1) business day after the random drawing. The winner’s name may be published on the social media accounts of the Organizing Company and Corsair.

The Organizing Body may not be held liable for sending an e-mail to an incorrect address due to an error on the part of the participant, nor for the malfunction of the e-mail sending system. Nor can the Organizing Body be held liable for any change in the winner's e-mail address.

If the winner does not contact the Organizing Body in writing (e-mail, letter, etc.) within seven (7) days of the date on which he/she was first notified, the prize will be definitively forfeited.

After accepting the prize, the winner will receive an email confirming the win, along with details on how to book the trip.

To claim the airline tickets, the winner must submit a request via email to billetpartenariat@corsair.fr, specifying the prize won by participating in the “Route du Rhum Contest – Hotels and Islands” Contest. This request must be received by Corsair at least fifteen (15) days after the end of the Contest.

Article 5 - Personal data

In the context of the Game, the Organizing Body may collect participants' personal data.

In accordance with the provisions of article 34 of law no. 78-17 known as the "Loi Informatique et Libertés", all participants are informed that the personal information collected is necessary for their participation in this Game and is subject to computer processing. In this respect, the Organizing Company guarantees that the personal data collected will be processed in compliance with the applicable legislation, including the French Data Protection Act (Loi Informatique et Libertés) and European Regulation 2016/679 of April 27, 2016 on the protection of personal data (hereinafter the "RGPD").

The collected data may be shared with service providers and subcontractors that the Organizing Company may engage for the purposes of organizing and/or managing the Contest. In this regard, the Organizing Company guarantees that the data collected by these service providers and subcontractors will be processed in accordance with the GDPR.

Participants’ data (last name, first name, email address, and prediction) are collected via Google Forms and retained for as long as necessary to administer the Contest and award the prize, and no later than six (6) months after the Contest ends, unless the participant consents to receiving marketing communications. The winner’s last name, first name, and email address will be shared with Corsair solely for the purpose of issuing airline tickets.

The participant is informed that he/she has the right to access, rectify, oppose or delete his/her personal data. These rights may be exercised by writing to Des Hôtels & Des Îles at the following address:

Participants who exercise their right to delete their personal data before the end of the Game will be deemed to have waived their right to participate.

Depending on the choices made by participants during data collection (optional fields on the form), this information may also be used to inform participants about news and promotional offers from Des Hôtels & Des Îles and/or be shared with Corsair to inform them of its news and promotional offers; it is hereby specified that participants may withdraw their consent at any time by sending a letter to the Marketing Department, whose contact information is provided above.

Article 6 - Liability

The Organizing Body may cancel or suspend all or part of the Game if it appears that fraud has occurred in any form whatsoever in connection with participation in the Game. In the event of misconduct or fraud on the part of a participant, the Organizing Body reserves the right to automatically disqualify any participation by the latter and/or the right not to award the prize to the fraudsters and/or to prosecute the perpetrators of such fraud before the competent courts, without the latter being able to claim anything whatsoever.

However, the Organizing Body may not be held liable in any way whatsoever to participants if it is forced to shorten, extend or cancel the present Contest, or to modify its conditions for any reason whatsoever. In particular, it will be considered fraudulent for a participant to register and then take part in the Game under one or more fictitious names or names borrowed from one or more third parties. Each participant must register and take part in the Game under his or her own and unique name.

The connection of any person to the Internet sites from which participation is made and participation in the Game is under the sole responsibility of the participants. It is the responsibility of each participant to take all appropriate measures to protect their own data and/or software stored on the computer used to take part in the Game against any attack.

The Organizing Body and its subcontractors decline all responsibility for any incidents that may occur during the enjoyment of the prize and/or due to its use and/or its consequences.

The Organizing Company shall not be held liable for the cancellation, postponement, suspension, or any modification of the 2026 Route du Rhum – Destination Guadeloupe. In such a case, it reserves the right to modify, extend, or cancel the Contest, or to determine the correct answer based on the official rankings published by the race organizer.

The Contest is neither organized, sponsored, nor administered by Meta Platforms (Facebook, Instagram) or by Google, which shall not be held liable in any way in connection with the Contest. The information provided by participants is submitted to the Organizing Company and not to Meta Platforms.

Article 7 - Acceptance and availability of the Rules

Participation in the Contest implies full and unconditional acceptance of the Rules, available at the

To be taken into account, any disputes relating to the Rules must be made in writing and addressed to the Marketing Department of the Organizing Body, whose contact details are given in Article 5, no later than thirty (30) days after the closing date for participation in the Game as indicated in Article 3 of the Rules.

The complete Rules will be sent free of charge to anyone who requests them in writing to Des Hôtels & Des Îles 120 Rue La Boétie 75008 Paris.

Article 8 - Modification of the Regulations

The Organizing Company reserves the right to amend the Rules. In such a case, the amendments will be incorporated into the Rules. These amendments will form an integral part of the Rules and will be considered annexes thereto.

Article 9 - Applicable law - Jurisdiction

The Regulations are governed by French law.

Any difficulty relating to the application, interpretation or consequences of the Regulations will be settled by the competent court.
